Viktor Hovland records 1st European Tour win at BMW International Open

Viktor Hovland has been impressive lately and it's evident in his recent outing; at the 2021 BMW International Open. The 23-year-old Norwegian successfully won the event held at the Golfclub Munchen Eichenried in Germany, defeating Martin Kaymer. Hovland is also the first Norwegian to win on the European Tour and he did it in just his 2nd start. He fired off a final round of 70 en route to a total of 269 (19-under) to seal the win by 2 strokes against Kaymer, who had a total of 17-under. Hovland has now 3 professional wins including 2 on the PGA Tour; Puerto Rico Open and Mayakoba Golf Classic both in 2020.
