He didn't won last week's British Open but Darren Clarke has a chance at the 2021 Senior British Open. Clarke fired an opening round of 65, eventually sharing the lead with Sunshine Tour veteran James Kingston. Clarke, who won the 2011 Open title, sunk 4 birdies including consecutive at 13 and 14 while reigning champion Bernhard Langer sits at T2 with 66 (4-under). Clarke hopes to follow his win at the PGA Tour Champions this past January and should he win this time, he would be the 4th golfer to have won the British Open and Senior British Open.
