Dustin Johnson resigns membership from PGA Tour

Just this past February, former #1 Dustin Johnson said that he was ‘fully committed to the PGA Tour'. Then recently, at the LIV Golf Series press conference, DJ announced he’s resigned his membership from the PGA Tour, just like Kevin Na did early this month. As a result, DJ won't be eligible to play on the Tour on a weekly basis, however, major championships may still be on the table. Also, A player must be a member of the PGA Tour to be eligible for a roster spot (Ryder Cup, Presidents Cup) which in this case, DJ isn't, his days playing for the United States are over.
