Danielle Kang to miss LPGA Tour events; set sights on getting healthy

Recently, Danielle Kang released a statement on social media saying she’d be taking some time away from the game to get back to 100 percent. Kang will be missing at least 4 LPGA Tour events with a tentative return at the Amundi Evian Championship as the earliest date. She made the cut as last week's US Women's Open before ending the tournament tied at 63rd with 79 despite an early diagnosis of a benign tumor on her spine. Kang has 6 victories on the LPGA Tour and 1 major title at the 2017 Women's PGA Championship.
