Brooke Henderson will defend LA Open title after withdrawing from Lotte Championship

After withdrawing from last week's Lotte Championship due to an unspecified illness, Brooke Henderson will tee it up this week at the DIO Implant LA Open. Her worst finish in six starts is a share of 13th at the Chevron Championship while she has 4 finishes of T-6 or better, with her best coming at the season-opening Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, where she finished second. Last year at Wilshire Country Club, Henderson set a 72-hole tournament scoring record of 16-under 268 en route to her 10th LPGA title.
