With former captain Henrik Stenson taking his talents to PGA Tour's rival league LIV Golf, the 2023 Ryder Cup team Europe has to find a captain, and they just did so. Stenson's replacement is 5-time PGA Tour winner Luke Donald, as he's officially named to be the official captain for the upcoming matches to be played in Italy. The 44-year-old Englishman previously represented Europe in 2004, 2006, 2010 and 2012, including six DP World Tour wins under his belt. He also served a vice captain in the past two Ryder Cups and is the first Englishman since Nick Faldo in 2008 to captain the Europeans.
