Xander Schauffele wins the 2022 Genesis Scottish Open

It could be a very good season for Xander Schauffele as 28-year-old pro won the 2022 Genesis Scottish Open for his 2nd consecutive win, his 3rd for 2022. Schauffele recently won the JP McManus Pro-Am 5 days ago then won here at Renaissance Club for his 7th overall Tour win. Finishing at 7-under 273 and winning by 1 shot over Kurt Kitayama, Schauffele played brilliantly on the back nine posting an even-par 70 during the final round. He’s the first golfer to win consecutive starts on the PGA Tour since Scottie Scheffler, and also joined Scheffler and Sam Burns as the only players with three or more wins this season.
