Steven Bowditch set to undergo fusion surgery

For Steven Bowditch, it's better to heal and recover rather than play through pain. The Australian golf professional will undergo a fusion surgery on his doctor's orders to ease his lingering back pains. Bowditch has been on a bit of a struggle, having missed 28 out of 29 cuts since 2017. He has 7 wins in his professional resume which includes 2 under the PGA Tour and 3 under the PGA Tour Australasia.
