Collin Morikawa held off a blitzing game from Jordan Spieth to capture the 2021 British Open held at Royal St. George's Golf Club in England. His 2nd major title (1st= 2020 PGA Championship), Morikawa made history by becoming the 1st player since 1926 to win 2 major tournaments in less than 8 starts, another by becoming the 1st player to win 2 different majors having a first appearance. So much accomplishment from Morikawa, who was bogey-free during the final round with 66 (4-under), 2 shots ahead of Spieth and has now clearly moved up the rankings with this win.
