Steven Alker scores 4th Tour Champions win at KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship

Steven Alker was in full gear, as he overcame a 4-stroke deficit at the start by shooting an 8-under 63 in the final round that included nine birdies. He finished with 16-under 268 and won the 82nd Senior PGA Championship with a 3-shot victory over Stephen Ames for his third victory in his last four starts. His final birdie at 16 and two up-and-down pars at 17 and 18 secured it. The victory also earned Alker a spot in next year’s PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club in New York.
