Steve Stricker tests positive for COVID19, withdraws from PGA Tour Champions event

Steve Stricker withdrew from the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship at Harbor Shores Resort Michigan, the 2nd major on the PGA Tour Champions. Stricker said that he tested positive for COVID19 this past Friday, and hopes to recover from this small setback. He went ill just this past fall, being admitted in a hospital in two different occasions while losing about 35 pounds to an illness doctors couldn't identify. Just recently, Stricker won his 8th PGA Tour Champions title at the 2022 Regions Tradition (2nd event win), outlasting Padraig Harrington by 6 shots.
