Sergio Garcia gets fined after unexcused withdrawal at BMW PGA Championship

Sergio Garcia has been a subject of issues in golf and his recent actions at the BMW PGA Championship is sure to cost him something. Garcia was fined by DP World Tour after failing to provide a medical explanation for his BMW PGA withdrawal, which might be a notion that his days on Tour is coming to an end. Garcia failed to meet the minimum event requirement by the PGA Tour (6-event minimum) and also derailing his chances at the 2023 Ryder Cup. With 14 career wins on the DP World Tour, he holds honorary life member status on tour, meaning he can still play in events he is exempt for prior to the court review.
