Sepp Straka wins 1st PGA Tour event at the 2022 Honda Classic

Sepp Straka birdied three of the last five holes, leaving his 46-foot eagle putt on the 18th hole inches short after he reached the par-5 final hole in two during a driving rainstorm and became the 1st Austrian to win on the PGA Tour at the 2022 Honda Classic. Straka overcame a 5-shot deficit on Sunday and posted a final round 4-under 66 and defeated Shane Lowry by 1 shot. With the win, Straka is now in the Masters and granted PGA Tour exemptions through the 2024 season which includes spots at the PGA Championship, Sentry Tournament of Champions and other invitational events.
