Last year's Arnold Palmer Invitational winner Bryson DeChambeau won't be defending his title this year, as he withdrew his name from the field at Bay Hill in Orlando. According to Bryson, reasons for his withdrawal is his wrist injury which hasn't been 100% when he got hurt last January. He defeated Lee Westwood by 1-shot in the 2021 Arnold Palmer Invitational for his eighth and most recent PGA Tour victory. He also thanked the Palmer family for its ‘tremendous support' during his golf career before further explaining his decision to withdraw.
