Patrick Cantlay scores the FedEx Cup prize; wins the 2021 Tour Championship
Patrick Cantlay will probably be sleeping beside his $15 million prize, and that's because of his win at the 2021 Tour Championship, the final event of the FedEx Cup playoffs. Cantlay outlasted Jon Rahm by 1 shot and finished with 21-under 269 with a final round of 69. Cantlay bogeyed #17 but still leads by one and made sure that he won the event by hitting his best drive at 361 yards all the way to the winning birdie that sealed the victory. He also won last week's BMW Championship (another FedEx Cup event) by defeating Bryson DeChambeau by 6-hole sudden death playoff.
