Jerry Kelly wins 2022 Principal Charity via playoff rounds

The last time the PCC went to a playoff was 2019, which was won by Kevin Sutherland. This is where Jerry Kelly enters the discussion, as he won the Principal Charity Classic by defeating Kirk Triplett in playoff rounds. He finished with a birdie in the single playoff hole while Triplett hit par, eventually claiming the winner’s prize of $277,500. Despite a weather delay, Kelly managed to squeeze the victory and totaled his Charles Schwab Cup winnings to $703,805.
