Danny Lee with a surprising 1st round behind Brooks Koepka at Bethpage Black

As some have expected, Brooks Koepka is leading by the end of the opening round at the 2019 PGA Championsip with a course-record of 63. It's also expected that golfers like Rory McIlroy, Phil Mickelson or Dustin Johnson would be either at the top or holding the top 5 spot at the leaderboards. To the surprise of many, a little-known Danny Lee is sitting behind Koepka with only 1 shot at 64. This could be a big confidence booster for the 28-year-old Lee as he heads on into the next rounds at Bethpage Black.
