Hovland and Ventura surging at Zurich Classic; shares lead with 62
The tandem of Viktor Hovland and Kris Ventura is rolling good at the Zurich Classic in New Orleans, and issues about chemistry isn't a problem at all for the two. Hovland and Ventura scored a best-ball 62 at the opening round at TPC Louisiana, enough for them to share the lead with Brice Garnett and 3-time PGA Tour winner Scott Stallings. Hovland and Ventura are comfortable being teammates as they are previously when the two were at the Oklahoma State University's golf team. Currently trailing Hovland-Ventura and Garnett-Stallings are Billy Horschel-Sam Burns and Cameron Champ-Tony Finau, both with 63.
