Brooks Koepka fires 62, takes the lead at LIV Golf Jeddah
Brooks Koepka has gotten off to a hot start at the LIV Golf event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He scored a a bogey-free 8-under 62 to lead Charl Schwartzel by 2 and a group of three players, including Patrick Reed by three shots. Koepka’s brother Chase, was at the top of the board at one point during the first round and Brooks took notice, then eventually signed for a 2-under 68 and is currently tied with both Dustin Johnson and Cameron Smith at T16. On the other hand, Phil Mickelson posted an opening-round 3-under 67 and is tied for 9th.
