Neck injury forces Hideki Matsuyama to withdraw at FedEx St. Jude Championship
Currently sitting at 11th at the FedEx Cup standings, Hideki Matsuyama has withdrawn from the FedEx St. Jude Championship due to a neck injury. The 2021 Masters winner was obviously disappointed but says the it's for the best to make sure that is neck receives the necessary treatment as he prepares to return at the BMW Championship and Tour Championship. Matsuyama has enough FedEx Cup points and is a lock to make both the BMW Championship (top 70) and Tour Championship (top 30).
