2023 Solheim Cup: Team USA names Angela Stanford as assistant captain

Captain Stacy Lewis made the announcement of naming the 3rd assistant captain for team United States. Angela Stanford will be the 3rd and final assistant captain for the Americans, joining Morgan Pressel and Natalie Gulbis. A 7-time winner on the LPGA Tour including a major at the 2018 Amundi Evian, Stanford has played 6 times for US Solheim Cup in 2003, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015. She also has been teammates with Lewis 3 times in 2011, 2013 and 2015, while serving also as assistant captain for Pat Hurst at last year's Solheim Cup.
