2023 Solheim Cup: Laura Davies, Caroline Martens and Anna Nordqvist named vice captains

The European team of the 2023 Solheim Cup is about to get a big boost. Captain Suzann Pettersen has officially named the team's vice captains, Laura Davis, Anna Nordqvist and Caroline Martens. Nordqvist, a three-time major winner, has competed in the last seven Solheim editions, securing 15.5 points during that span. On the other hand, Davis will once again serve as a vice captain after appearing 12 times in the Solheim as a competitor. Meanwhile for team USA, captain Stacy Lewis has so far named Natalie Gulbis and Morgan Pressel as two of her assistants, and is looking for a Solheim win since 2017.
