Scottie Scheffler records 2nd Tour win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational
Scottie Scheffler shot even-par 72 for a total of 5-under 283, and 1 stroke better than Viktor Hovland, Tyrrell Hatton and Billy Horschel. Scheffler, fresh off a win last February at the WM Phoenix Open, notched his 2nd PGA Tour win at the 2022 Arnold Palmer Invitational. He opened with rounds of 70-73 before shooting one of the rounds of the tournament with a 4-under 68 that included three birdies and an eagle on the inward nine. In the final round, he overcame a sluggish start with bogeys on 2 of his first 3 holes and missed a 5-foot par putt at nine to make the turn one stroke behind Hovland.
