PGA Tour: Cameron Young wins Rookie of the Year

After getting 94% votes, Cameron Young is named Rookie of the Year by the PGA Tour beating fellow finalists Sahith Theegala and Tom Kim for the distinction. The former Wake Forest standout placed 2nd at the Sanderson Farms Championship, Genesis Invitational, Wells Fargo Championship and Rocket Mortgage Classic and was one of 2 rookies (Theegala) to qualify for the Tour Championship at East Lake. Young even had an impressive finish at the PGA Championship at 3rd in Southern Hills while winning twice on the Korn Ferry Tour which helped him secure his Tour card for his rookie season.
