First wins are always great and unforgettable and that's the case for South African pro Paula Reto. She was virtually in control right from the beginning and her consistent play was just enough to defeat Nelly Korda and Hye-jin Choi to win the CP Women's Open by 1 shot, recording her 1st LPGA Tour victory. Reto didn’t make any birdies on the back nine and had one bogey, but par golf otherwise was enough to secure the victory. Choi played well, carding a 2-under 69, but the 54-hole leader couldn’t manage more than two birdies on her day, while Korda shot 4 under in the final round, but she was 4 under on the back nine with three birdies and an eagle on the par-4 12th.
