Morgan Pressel selected as assistant captain for US Solheim Cup team
US Solheim Cup team captain Stacy Lewis has selected Morgan Pressel as an assistant captain for the 2023 U.S. Solheim Cup team. The 33-year-old Pressel has an overall Solheim Cup record of 11-8-3 and was part of winning Solheim Cup teams in 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2019, highlighted by the winning point in 2009 with a 3-and-2 victory over Anna Nordqvist. She also became the youngest major winner in history at age 18 when she won the 2007 Chevron Championship.
