Erik van Rooyen captures 1st PGA Tour win at the Barracuda Championship

South African pro golfer Erik van Rooyen just found what he's looking for and that's a win on the PGA Tour. Van Rooyen claimed that win at the 2021 Barracuda Championship by defeating Andrew Putnam by 5 points, and broke the tournament record by posting a total of 50 points in 4 rounds under the modified stableford scoring system. Though van Rooyen has already wins in other tours such as the 2019 Scandinavian Invitation (European Tour), winning one on the PGA Tour is much special and feels like a big accomplishment.
