Daniel Berger out of the Honda Classic field after rib issues
This year's field at the 2021 Honda Classic has now taken another hit as 4-time PGA Tour winner Daniel Berger withdrew his name, caused by rib issues. Just a few days ago, Gary Woodland and Scott Piercy, also with 4 PGA Tour wins, both withdrew their names after testing positive for COVID19. Berger, currently the highest-ranked golfer in the field, said he wants to rest as he recently underwent MRI on his ribs, which was already bothering him for 2 weeks.
