A smiling Bryson DeChambeau recently confirmed that he had successful left wrist surgery on his fractured ‘hook of the hamate'. Prior to the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play in March, he revealed that he suffered a fractured hamate bone in his left hand as well as a torn labrum in his left hip. DeChambeau was originally committed to compete in this week’s Professional Long Drivers Association event in Florida. He also said that he will take the appropriate time needed to rest and recover, but didn’t give any indication of how many weeks he expects to be out.
