We often see golfers break their own putters out of disappointment during the course of play; Thomas Pieters' putter has been added to that putter casualty list. After a quadruple bogey 9, he broke his putter through his knee thus splitting it in two. Pieters' hasn't been having a good week after posting an awful 77 at the European Open Masters and recently he missed the cut for the Ryder Cup team after captain Thomas Bjorn already picked his 4 veteran teammates.
