A great win for Abraham Ancer at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational
Indeed a win to remember for Mexican pro Abraham Ancer and it happened in exciting fashion, as he won the 2021 WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational. Ancer defeated Sam Burns and Hideki Matsuyama via 2 sudden-death playoff holes to record his 1st PGA Tour win after recently finishing 14th at the men's tournament at the Tokyo Olympics. Ancer capitalized on the mishaps of Bryson DeChambeau and Harris English who had a 3-stroke lead entering the final round. Eventually, Ancer had the birdie on the second extra hole sealing the win after 121 starts.
