Minjee Lee cruises to 2nd major title; wins the 2022 US Women’s Open

Minjee Lee entered the final round with a three-stroke lead then finished at 13 under, thus defeating Mina Harigae by 4 shots to claim her second major title. The win also earned her the largest payday to date in women's golf history, a whopping $1.8 million of the $10 million total purse. Harigae delivered a clutch birdie on the par-5 15th hole to finish solo second. Hyejin Choi was solo third at 7 under while current #1 Jin Young Ko shot a 71 on Sunday to claim solo fourth.
