University of St. Andrews gives Paul Lawrie an honorary degree

Paul Lawrie, a professional golfer from Scotland, has been given by University of St. Andrews an honorary degree. He has joined an elite cast of honorary recipients; pros like Tom Watson, Jack Nicklaus, Padraig Harrington and the late (and great) Arnold Palmer. Lawrie's most notable wins were at the 1999 Open Championship and at the 1996 Catalan Open for his first European Tour win.
