There’s one golf swing mistake that's always being done; coming over the top. Its causes may be turning too soon at the start of your downswing or poor alignment not enough for your shoulder to tilt. Top golf teacher Scott Hamilton has a simple drill wherein he shallows the club to keep his clubface stable; and it's by using only one arm. Take note that this drill is best done with a lighter club than usual because using one that’s too heavy could compromise your technique, or worse, lead to injury.
