Tony Finau takes the lead from Scott Piercy en route to the 2022 3M Open win

Scott Piercy entered the final round of the 2022 3M Open with a four-shot lead, while Tony Finau was 5 shots behind. Then Finau capitalized on Piercy's final round blunders to secure his 3rd Tour victory with a 3-shot win at the TPC Twin Cities. Finau shot 4-under 67 in the final round to defeat Emiliano Grillo and Sung-Jae Im, recording a total of 17-under 267. Piercy bogeyed nos. 8, 9 and 11 then birdied 12 but went on a string of bogeys on his next 3 holes, which saw Finau climb up the leaderboards.
