Thompson grabs 2nd round lead at the CME Championship

Familiar favorite Lexi Thompson is at the driver seat at the end of the 2nd round of the CME Group Tour Championship, which also featured 8 Americans at the top 12 of the leaderboards. Thompson holds the lead over fellow Americans Brittany Lincicome and Amy Olson. Thompson was also bogey-free, thanks to a gear switch in her old Bettinardi putter. The other American LPGA pros in the top 12 are the Korda sisters Jessica and Nelly, and Marina Alex.
