PING’s new and limited PLD Patent 55 putter

To celebrate 55-year anniversary of the putter patent of the aluminum bronze Anser model, PING announced a second stainless steel offering that will be making its way to Ping’s PLD website, and will be available for only 55 stainless steel putters. Also, PING followed by a gold-plated putter plans to release two more versions of the PLD Anser 55 in the coming months, with a machined copper version followed by a gold-plated putter. While the putters are a fun way to honor an iconic design, PING is hoping the releases educate the golfing public on the historical significance of Karsten Solheim’s Anser.
