Mackenzie Hughes need extra rounds just to win his 2nd PGA Tour title, and sure did he. Hughes defeated Sepp Straka with a birdie on the 2nd extra hole to win the 2022 Sanderson Farms Championship, after both of them were tied after 72 holes at 17 under. Also, they both trailed 54-hole leader Mark Hubbard by one and three strokes, respectively, coming into the final round, but Hubbard faded with a 74 in the final round. Hughes' first Tour win was also in a playoff, at the 2016 RSM Classic while Straka also had one win coming into the win, earlier this year at the Honda Classic.
