PGA Championship: South African pro lashes out in frustration on irons, tee

Erik Van Rooyen is feeling nothing but frustration at his play at the 2021 PGA Championship. In fact, Kiawah Island Golf Resort can be a very difficult course to play on and can definitely push a player's frustrations at a ridiculous level. Van Rooyen clearly was furious at the 17th hole wherein his shot went into the water, prompting him to smash his iron into the tee marker that led to a snapped clubhead. His struggles would continue as he went on to make a triple-bogey and end the day at 9-over.
