Matsuyama withdraws from Rocket Mortgage after testing positive for COVID19

Hideki Matsuyama played a good opening round at the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic. Unfortunately, he won't be in action for the rest of the tournament as he tested positive for COVID19, eventually leading to withdrawing from the event. His status at the upcoming British Open is now uncertain as travelling to England will require certain health protocols like self-quarantine for a few days, specially that he tested positive. All the Matsuyama hopes now is to make a full immediate recovery and will look to add another major win at the 2021 British Open.
