Matilda Castren captures 1st LPGA win at the Mediheal Championship

Matilda Castern has made history by becoming the 1st Finnish golfer to win on the LPGA Tour at the 2021 LPGA Mediheal Championship which was held at the Lake Merced Golf Club in California. Castren, currently on rookie season in LPGA Tour, did this in her 15th start and won in impressive fashiondefeating Taiwanese Min Lee. The 26-year-old Castren finished with a total of 274 (14-under) and dropped her final birdie to finish the final round with 65 en route to a 2-stroke victory.
