The grip is one of the game’s most important fundamentals, but it’s very easy to get it wrong, resulting in a whole host of unintended consequences in your swing. According to golf teacher Krista Dunton, there's an an easy way to make sure your grip is correct for your specific body type. Start by letting your arms hang naturally from your sides, then take your grip with your fingers first, with your arms still in that neutral side position. This is an important step because forcing a grip that is contrary to your natural arm hang will cause problems.
