Kevin Tway is the 2018 Safeway Open champion

Kevin Tway earned his first PGA Tour win at the 2018 Safeway Open, beating Brandt Snedeker and Ryan Moore via playoff rounds. Snedeker was eliminated during the first playoff hole and Moore eventually followed. Tway made the birdie in the par-4 10th hole to secure his first win since turning pro last 2011. His father, Bob, also earned his first PGA win at the 1986 Farmers Insurance Open, thus making them the first father-son duo with PGA Tour victories.
