Justin Rose recalls Birkdale 1998
Justin Rose won his first major title at the 2013 US Open at the Merion Golf Club, but he rose to the occassion way back in the 1998 Open Championship wherein he holed a dramatic shot from the rough at the final hole. He became a pro after that moment and his confidence in his short game just went up.
