Jason Day withdraws mid-game at Arnold Palmer Invitational
After his second shot of the opening round at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Jason Day quickly withdrew from the event, much to the surprise of everyone. It appears that the cause for Day's withdrawal was his back injury in which he tore his L4 and L5 discs. He admitted that his back was already sore to which he didn't play the practice rounds at Bay Hill. He also wasn't having a nice game on the opening round, committing bogeys on the first hole and double bogeys on the 13th.
