Grayson Murray withdraws from the field ahead of the Butterfield Bermuda Championship
PGA Tour pro Grayson Murray was involved in a scooter accident recently, then forced to withdraw his name ahead of the 2022 Butterfield Bermuda Championship this week. Murray was riding back to his hotel when he steered around a bend and neared the center line. The car on the opposite side also neared the center line resulting in Murray colliding with the corner of the front of the vehicle and rolling 20 feet. Following the accident, Murray was unconscious and vaguely remembers waiting for the ambulance. He did not break any bones but received 50 stitches; which included 25 stitches on his face, 10 on his leg and others on various parts of his body.
