Florida’s Blackwater Golf Club announces soft opening

Last mid-February, Florida's city officials plan to have a soft opening for major features of the city-owned, 18-hole Blackwater Golf Club, including its virtual and interactive Toptracer Range, its front 9 holes and a Tiki bar called The Drive Bar. The grand opening is expected to include the opening of the new full-service restaurant, called The Crossing, in the renovated clubhouse. City manager Tim Bolduc told the City Council on Monday that because of COVID-19 pandemic-caused delays in receiving building materials and new golf carts, the soft opening is expected to take place around mid-February instead of early January.
