Fast to rise, faster to fall
Not all fiery starts in golf (or in any given sport) ends with successful results. Not in the case of Rory McIlroy and Jason Day in the 2017 US Open, as they went through blazing in the first round, only to fall in the end. Both guys admitted they were off and finished badly.
