JB Holmes defeats Justin Thomas by 1 shot at Genesis Open

Justin Thomas was leading the final round and seemed to be in control, not until JB Holmes came back roaring from a 4-shot deficit to squeeze the win in the 2019 Genesis Open at the Riviera Country Club. It was a lackluster putting for Thomas as Holmes finished a total of 14-under 270 for his first win in almost 4 years, his 5th under the PGA Tour. It was a tough event for some of the golfers as the weather isn't on their side; having some wind and darkness.
