As the saying goes: ‘when it rains it pours'. When it does, flooding can happen which is no good for grass. Heavy rains can cause real damage to lawns specially to golf courses, and recovery could cost you some time. One issue which can give us headaches is puddling, as when it heats up, it scalds the grass. First thing to do after a heavy rain is to assess the damage and even if the grass is still green, you should still apply some care by aerating your lawn to promote flow of water and air through the root zone.
